Role: Brand Identity, Web Design & Sustainable UI/UX
Client: Indian Network on Ethics and Climate Change (INECC)

THE CHALLENGE:
INECC's existing logo and web presence didn't reflect the scale or sophistication of the network's work. As their digital footprint grew, they needed an identity that was modern and distinctive, and that embedded their values of equity and sustainability into every design decision.
WHAT I DID:
Brand Redesign: I worked closely with the INECC team to develop a new logo inspired by the communities they serve (marginalised communities and Adivasis) rendered in a modern, minimalist visual language with custom iconography covering INECC's main sectors of intervention. Then went further: proposed and designed India's first low-carbon website for an Indian organisation, making conscious design and development decisions to reduce digital carbon footprint while strengthening communication impact. Delivered full information architecture, UI design, front-end web design, and project management. The design outputs included:
Logo design
Visual language
Custom iconography
Website design

Sustainable UI/UX: I encouraged INECC to incorporate its core values of ‘People and Planet’ into its online presence by building a new low-carbon website. A low-carbon website makes conscious design and development decisions to reduce its carbon footprint while still meeting its communication needs. This is the first low-carbon website for an Indian organization*. This work included:
Creating website information architecture
UI design / Front-end web design
Project management

The outcome:
A cohesive brand and digital presence that embeds INECC's values of people and planet into every touchpoint — from the logo to the server load — setting a new standard for mission-aligned design in the Indian climate sector.

INECC logo is inspired by the people they serve - marginalized communities and Adivasis

Custom-designed icons covering INECCs main sectors of interventions, and other icons for the website.
