ROLE: Communication Strategy, Event Design & Brand Identity
CLIENT: Indian Network on Ethics and Climate Change (INECC)
THE CHALLENGE:
INECC needed to design and communicate a two-day online event that brought together decentralised climate solutions from across South Asia without flattening the complexity and diversity of those solutions into a generic climate narrative.
What I did:
Event structure: Worked with the INECC communications team to map and reorganise the interconnected themes of climate adaptation and mitigation into clear tracks, creating a content hierarchy that gave the event coherence without losing nuance. Speakers, panels, topics, and overall communication followed this structure to bring a clear and cohesive narrative to the event.

Visual Design/Event Branding: In the doom and gloom narrative around climate change, I worked with INECC to celebrate the innovation and resilience of communities across South Asia that are tackling climate change head-on. The branding was inspired by the unique scripts and vibrant celebrations of the different communities of South Asia - highlighting the tenacious spirit of community work.
The design outputs included:
Brand personality
Logo and Colours
Visual language
Concept note design and layout
Social media campaigns
The Outcome:
A two-day online event with a clear narrative spine and a visual identity that honoured the communities at the centre of the work, making complex, multi-regional climate action legible and compelling to a diverse audience of practitioners, policymakers, and funders.
The custom-designed logo was inspired by the shapes and forms of various South Asian scripts.
