Role: Photographer, Researcher, Visual Designer
The CHALLENGE:
As part of my Masters in Communication Design, I had to design a book that showcased my typography and layout skills on any topic.
The Solution:
Beauty in Mortality coffee table book: I lived close to a cemetery and was inspired to design a book that celebrated the art embedded in old monuments and structures in the graveyards of New York City. It explores how design can hold and communicate the human experience of loss, impermanence, and meaning through visual language that is both contemplative and precise. For this project, I did:
Research
Editorial/book design
